Feasting with flair: Olive+Stone

Yesterday afternoon I attended the September You Are The Media online/offline hybrid event, held at the gorgeous Regent Centre in Christchurch. As ever - and perhaps more than ever - organiser Mark Masters excelled himself. From the atmosphere brimming with energy and positivity, to the amazing lessons we learnt about content marketing and entrepreneurship from Joe Pulizzi over in Cleveland, Ohio, it was time out of the office very well spent.

We are always well-fed at YATM events, but this one took it to a whole new level. Wimborne-based Olive+Stone created feasting tables that more than lived up to their “food with flair” promise. The array of cheese, charcuterie, salads, fruit, olives fresh bread, crudités and pastries looked like footage from one of my dreams! It was a work of art, a treat for all the senses. I was assured by my friend Nick that the vegan options were amazing, and in particular the vegan cheese. Owner Amy Stone champions the fantastic produce that Dorset and the South West has to offer, and incorporates sensational seasonal flowers - this time from Northcombe Flowers - into her displays.

As well as feasting tables for events, Amy also offers cheeseboard home deliveries, for two people right through to a crowd. Now that’s my kind of takeaway treat!
