Oink.

Welcome to my blog. I write about food and drink at home in Dorset and on my travels. Happy reading!

Shine online with divine photography

In my work as a copywriter and my previous life as a journalist, there are many occasions when I’ve found myself trawling though stock photography and wanting to poke my own eyes out it’s so bad. SO bad. Why’s it so bad?

Imagine my delight when the sleek elegance of The Luminous hit my eyeballs. While I was making dodgy sourdough loaves during lockdown, wedding industry entrepreneurs Helen, Camilla and Kim were firming up their futures and birthing The Luminous - the classiest stock photography site you’ll ever see.

Their gallery features thousands of fine art stock images -everything from art, architecture and nature to wellbeing, travel and weddings…and so much more. They add loads of new and seasonal images each month. You can filter by category, colour or keyword and save your favourites.

Members on the Brilliance subscription have unlimited access to the full image gallery, a library of editable Canva templates to use on social media, plus a business education hub. Helen, Camilla and Kim wanted to ensure that members had the knowledge and skills to use the images with impact, so they have created a library of expert-led tutorials, workbooks and downloadable resources.

The category that got my snout twitching was food and drink. Helen’s husband Dom is a food stylist, home economist and recipe developer, which accounts for such joyful contributions. I mean, just look at these beauties. How social media ready can you get?

If anyone needs The Luminous in their life, use the code BECCA10 for 10% off either the Brilliance (£19/month) or Brighten (£29/month) membership packages.
